A Spanish house with Belgian influences

When I saw the pictures of this house, I immediately recognized furniture, lighting, decoration and fabrics to be of Belgian origine. And by reading the name of the decorator of this house, Christine van Hoecke, I realized that indeed she has a very Flemisch name. I might think that she moved to Spain to start in Marbella, her interior design company Araxan Interiorismo, but I couldn’t find a website of the company.

A lot of the furniture you can find at Araxan Interiorismo.

Space, light and white colors define the decor of this home.

1

The porch.

2 Dining table designed by Araxan Interiorismo.

3

Wooden doors with an antique patina for the entry hall, in a wonderful combination with the painted pedestals.

4

The extraordinary hight of this room has created a mezzanine and the room is used as sitting room and as office.

5

Oak furniture and linen upholstery for the sofas = very Belgian.

6  I love the trestle coffee table here. And the old chesterfield sofa warms the entire space.

7 Notice the wrought iron spiral staircase!

8

A former patio has been converted into a dining room! The result is a special stay, circular and surrounded by columns!

Belgian linen used here!

9 In the kitchen we see Seville tiles, replicas of an old drawing. Rustic oak for the Belgian kitchen cabinets.

10 Latticed sliding doors.

11

Master bedroom in white.

12 A very welcoming feeling.

13

This is my favorite picture of the house : the corridor leading to the bedroom.
