2. Days. Till. We. Move. Yay!!! The floors have been installed downstairs and the carpet upstairs will be installed tomorrow. The house is a flurry of activity today as the final details are completed, such as: 1) mirrors get installed; 2) exterior shutters are stained; 3) interior is being cleaned; 4) refrigerator and outdoor grill are being installed; 4) shower doors are going in; 5) a couple of hooks are being changed out; 6) garage floors are being painted; and 7) downstairs toilet is installed.
For the floors, we did the entire first floor (including the kitchen and half bath), and upstairs hallway in bamboo. The stairs are stained to match. It was interesting to watch the process unfold. The floors still need to be cleaned in these photos, but it’s looking good!
